1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how TheDriveBooker ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit our marketing site, contact us, join the waitlist, request a website, or use the Service as a company user, driver, or passenger.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Account and company details such as name, company name, email, phone, and role.
  • Booking and trip details such as pickup and drop off locations, times, passenger contact details, payment status, and messages.
  • Driver and fleet details needed to operate trips, including documents you upload.
  • Payment related information processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • Marketing site form submissions, waitlist emails, and support messages.
  • Technical data such as IP address (stored hashed where used for security), browser type, and pages requested.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to provide and improve the Service, process subscriptions and SMS credit purchases, send transactional email and SMS, prevent abuse, provide support, meet legal obligations, and communicate about product updates you request.

4. Email and SMS communications

Transactional messages related to accounts, bookings, reminders, and receipts may be sent by email or SMS. Marketing messages are sent only where permitted and with a way to opt out where required. SMS consent and opt out rules are described in our SMS terms.

5. How we share information

We share information with service providers that help us operate the product, including hosting, email delivery, SMS delivery (such as Twilio), payment processing (Stripe), and mapping services. We may also share information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell personal information.

6. Company customers as controllers

When a transportation company uses TheDriveBooker to manage passengers and drivers, that company decides what customer data to collect for its trips. In that case the company is responsible for its own privacy notices and consent. We process that data to provide the Service to the company.

7. Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Cancelled or suspended accounts may be retained for a limited period described in the product before deletion.

8. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, hashed passwords, and prepared database statements. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

9. Your choices

Company users can update profile and company settings in the dashboard when available. Passengers may access trip related options through the customer portal when enabled by the company. You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable law provides those rights.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

11. International visitors

The Service is operated for US ground transportation companies and hosted in the United States. If you access the Service from elsewhere, you understand your information may be processed in the United States.

12. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy by posting a new version on this page with an updated date.
